so i skated saturday until my knees felt the uncomfortable but not so out of the ordinairy pain of just climbing a mountain. decided to push it again today, something i haven’t done in the past- no pain. i think i shall just keep pushing it, hurting them and relaxing hasn’t healed it in almost a year now.. it’s somewhat comforting to not have the same pains– especially since i was able to in-line today.. first time in probably 6 months.

i won a very basic and limited model of a stair-stepper on ebay, and two power supplies for my sparc 20 as well. they apparently die frequently. I also purchased a few books, the pragmatic programmer– i wanted to read it again, and unix network programming vol2, it’s all about ipc programming in c. i think i decided not to use ipc in my main project at work… but everyone should have the richard stevens books, right?

i ripped some old world industries risers off an old skateboard to mount a hard drive in my sparc 4. pictures are here.
