If you remember the snack mix Doo Dads then you probably know ChexMix is no replacement. Doo Dads was discontinued by Nabisco several years ago and until recently there was no replacement.
Well over the holidays I stumbled on something new from Nabisco. They’re called Mixers and they come in Traditional and some Cheese thing. Stay away from the cheese and buy the Traditional, it has a spicy taste just like Doo Dads.
Buy some salted peanuts and dump them in the bag. You’ll have to eat around the Ritz crackers though.
i loved doodads. my parents used to buy them and me and my brother would hide them on each other so we wouldn’t have to share. i miss them so much. nothing compares.

If you’re just reading this post, Mixers is gone already. Pulled from the shelves. The stuff was God awful anyway. It couldn’t compare to the original Doo Dads out of the fifties, sixties and mid 70′s. Look, it was pulled for a reason. All of that stuff was dropped into a VAT OF BOILING OIL and DEEP FRIED. Was it good? Anything dropped into a VAT OF BOILING OIL is AWESOME! But the saturated fat levels were out of sight. People were dropping dead of heart attacks. Something had to be done. Good snacks like Doo-Dads were discontinued. It’s the same reason why you can’t find Laura Scudder potato chips anymore — at least not the original. The Oakland plant, and the vats that resulted in those tasty chips, are long gone.

Mixers is NOT DooDads. Stop the imitations and bring back the real deal
